iPhone Case Design
This replication of a LifeProof case was designed for my introduction to graphics communication course. The motive behind creating a phone case lies in the fact that I have always wanted to get my hands on a LifeProof Case, but sadly their prices do not fit my budget as a college student.
Hence, I figured I could model a phone case after the LifeProof Nüüd for the iPhone 6 which has an ultra-thin design at just 11.7 mm. Then, I could use the 3D model to print a phone case with many of the same functional benefits as the LifeProof (i.e., water, dirt, shock, and snowproof), but with the added benefit of a customized card holder.
Garden Steps
Design
The construction of the garden steps, i.e. the wooden frame, took one entire day to complete. Although not as physically challenging, there were moments of confusion and frustration. For instance, a boulder beneath the crevice near the first step prevented me from aligning the structure properly, and required me to dig more. Nevertheless, as this before and after illustrates, I am quite proud to make this project part of my personal history from high school.
